The refreshingly light, sweet, citrus scent of sweet orange is heart-warming, energising and invigorating, gently improving mood and relieving stress and anxiety. It stimulates the skin's microcirculation and metabolism and can be used in skin regeneration and tonifying products, as well as to reduce the symptoms of cellulite. It helps to balance sebum production, and due its antibacterial effect is preventing acne breakouts.
Usage: Add 3-8 drops to water in an aroma diffuser. To make an invigorating aromatherapy bath, mix 8-10 drops in 1 teaspoon of avocado oil, cream or honey and add to a bath of water. For a wrinkle smoothing skin treatment, mix 1-2 drops in 1 teaspoon of apricot kernel oil and gently massage into the skin. To care for oily, acne-prone skin, mix 1-2 drops in a teaspoon of neutral cream and apply to the problematic area. To reduce the symptoms of cellulite, mix 6-10 drops in 1 tablespoon of avocado or jojoba oil and massage into the skin. For saunas, add 4-6 drops to a ladle of water, make sure you mix it, then pour it over hot stones.
Warning: For external use only. Keep out of the reach of children. Avoid contact with eyes. May cause skin sensitivity, so test skin before use. Do not use undiluted essential oils on skin. The product might cause photosensitivity, so do not expose skin to sunlight or solarium for 12 hours after use. Discontinue use if irritation occurs. Do not use on open wounds, during pregnancy or breastfeeding, or on children under the age of 10. Do not drip directly onto burning candles.
Skin patch test: Apply a small amount of the mixture, made according to the instructions, on a small area of the cleansed, dry forearm. Cover it with a gauze pad and fix with a tape and wait 24 hours. In case of skin reactions (redness, swelling, itching, blisters), remove the gauze immediately and cleanse the skin with a carrier oil or soapy warm water.
