Ichthyol, also known as ichthammol, is a sulfur-rich natural substance that is mainly used in cosmetics to treat oily and problematic skin. It has antibacterial, anti-inflammatory and antiseptic properties, making it effective in the treatment of acne, blackheads and other skin inflammations.
