With its sweet, rose-like, slightly citrus scent, geranium (rose petal) essential oil is one of the most popular essences for maintaining emotional balance and harmony. Evaporating just a few drops can relieve tension and bring a sense of well-being. It promotes the appearance of clear and healthy skin, helps to regenerate and fades scars and superficial skin lesions. It regulates the sebaceous glands and makes the skin glow. Due to its antibacterial effect prevents the development of unpleasant body odour.
Usage:
add 3-8 drops to water in an aroma diffuser. For a mood-boosting aroma bath, mix 8-10 drops in 1 teaspoon of avocado oil, cream or honey and add to a bath of water. For a wrinkle-soothing, scar-treating skin treatment, mix 2 to 4 drops in 1 teaspoon of carrier oil and gently massage into the skin. For oily, acne-prone skin, mix 1-2 drops in 1 teaspoon of neutral cream or aloe vera gel and apply to the problematic area. For a deodorant powder, mix 2 drops with 1 tablespoon of baking soda and apply as a dab to the underarm area. For saunas, add 4 to 6 drops to a ladle of water, mix it then pour over the hot stones.
Warning:
for external use only. Keep out of reach of children. Avoid contact with eyes. May cause skin sensitivity, so test skin before use. Do not use undiluted essential oils on skin. Discontinue use if irritation occurs. Do not use on open wounds, during pregnancy and breastfeeding, or on children under the age of 10. Do not drip directly onto a burning candle.
